BECCA’s Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer | Review

If you’re anything like me, you may suffer from dry under eyes and dark circles. My dry under eyes create creasing when I wear my concealer sometimes. I had received the BECCA Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer in my BoxyCharm subscription as a welcome gift and wanted to review it to see if it will be the hero to all my problems!

The BECCA under-eye primer retails for $32 and comes at 0.13oz. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but if something can make my under eyes come to life – hey, that’s a tiny price to pay!

BECCA Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer

The under-eye primer claims to “awakens tired eyes while reducing the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines.” Why, yes, dark circles have taken permanent residence on my face (thanks, college…and my poor sleeping habits).

Here is a photo of my eyes without any make-up besides eyeshadow and some falsies:

I applied the primer with my finger and underneath my eyes. There is a slight cooling sensation that isn’t overwhelming nor does it burn. The cooling sensation does last for a few minutes. There is also no scent.

Immediately after applying BECCA’s Under Eye Primer (no concealer)

Immediately, I didn’t see a huge difference. In the photos, you can tell it did slightly decrease in puffiness underneath my eyes. My dark circles didn’t go away completely but I do see a difference.

I put on Maybelline’s FITme Concealer which went on nicely and didn’t crease. Then, I topped it off with Maybelline’s Super Stay Better Skin Powder to set my concealer.

It does claims to reduce, not erase, dark circles, fine line, and creases which I think holds true.

I would say that all in all, the primer looks better than it would’ve looked like without it. I can definitely see a change in my photos when I pull up my camera. I’m pretty excited about this product so far!

In my opinion, the $32 price can be a little steep for just your under-eyes, but if you’re looking for any reduction, this might be for you!

  1. That’s interesting, thanks for sharing this review! From Becca I have only a highlighter, which is great. never tried a primer or anything similar. But the packaging looks cute and clean! Though I agree that it’s a tiny bit pricey 🙂
